Peaked Sports - DNA Rail Jam
17 August 2007

Last Friday night August 17th, Peaked Sports hosted the 2007 DNA Evolution Rail Jam tour. This event has been touring around the Rocky Mountain Range all summer and came to Driggs for one night only. The venue consists of rails and a padded carpet landing area, which is brought in by cargo trailer. The trailer was set up under the covered porch of the Driggs Community Center, which was generously offered by the Driggs City Council, headed by Mayor Lou Christensen, who attended the event. Participants in the rail jam hiked to the top of the rails and either on skis or snowboards grind down the rails doing various tricks. The winner of the event John Rodosky of Wilson received $500 and the chance to compete in the final event and win a pro contract with DNA Clothing. Sam Mead of Jackson placed second while Jesse Birt of Jackson was third. Both Sam and Jesse won DNA outer wear for their efforts. Riley Olsen of Victor was fourth with Gradey Cullins of Driggs taking fifth in the open competition, after winning the under 13 level. Gage Davis and Alec Davis of Tetonia were second and third, respectively in the under 13 competition.
